One way that an ESL learner, that's English as a Second Language learner, can build upon his vocabulary and increase his listening ability is by using lyrics. Lyrics are the words of a song.
There are loads of resources available on the web for those interested in trying this out. You can find the lyrics to pretty much any song ever written at the click of a mouse.
I have pretty much always been a fan of Pink Floyd, the British rock group. I've included a link to the lyrics as well as another link to a video of the song Wish You Were Here.
